The National Gulf War Research Center is run by veterans to help these Gulf War veterans who are in need of help due to their health conditions. I think it is great what these people are doing. They are a small organization but they are dedicated to do all that they can to make it easier on these men who are suffering from this illness. Not only are they doing research but they are helping the families of these men. It must be tough on their families trying to help their husbands/fathers etc. on a daily basis, helping them remember things, making them not feel as sick, make them comfortable etc. when all they want is for their family member to have their normal life back.
The NGWRC provides education and assistance on how to help a person suffering from this syndrome. They also educate hospitals and medical staffs on this syndrome so that they can search further for cures or remedies. They "are committed to helping veterans improve their chances of receiving over due compensation for their service-connected illnesses." I think this orginization really helps these people and their families. They provide many aids and resources for these men and it is truly amazing how dedicated they are for this cause.
